I like funny place names, so today I was overjoyed to have been sent to a place in Wigan called "Hardybutts".

I've completed my third day of employment in my new job in Wigan. The amount of things I don't know how to do is quite daunting. Nevertheless, I get a good feeling about this job.

I'm currently living in my fiancee's brother's flat in Castlefield in Manchester. It's in a trendy modern apartment block which is fun and exciting to experience. However, the people opposite sit on their balcony all the time and stare at us. We think they are swingers. 

Completed my last day working for Walsall Council today. They gave me a thong as a present. I also bought a Honda Jazz car, and a cheap mobile phone.  Quite a big day really.
